For this special 10 year anniversary session, Mel and I drove out to Roanoke early in the AM to beat the summer heat and catch the cool, crisp sunrise as it filled the quiet streets of downtown. We met with Jason and Vanessa Skidmore at the Green Memorial United Methodist Church, where they tied the knot 10 years ago in July of 2008. They brought a beautifully framed photo from their wedding, with Vanessa looking stunning in her wedding dress, and Jason in his dress blues! Fo

Shelby & Kyle met up with me at Waid Park, for their summer engagement session! We explored the riverside, chased sunsets in cornfields, and outran summer rain and a horde of mosquitoes together! I loved how chill both of their personalities were, and I had a great time getting to know them. I can't wait to adventure with them again this September for their wedding day!
