For Zach & Haley's September wedding, Mel & I drove through the beautiful countryside in Radford, Virginia to The Little River Bluegrass Barn. Haley looked lovely in her heirloom wedding dress, which was refashioned for her from Zach's mother's gown! Her daughter, Madison, was a big help putting in her mama's earrings. She couldn't wait for the ceremony to begin! Just before the ceremony a rain cloud hovered over and everyone held their breath... but just in time, it drifted over the mountains and away from the venue, the sun peaking out just in time for the bridal party to walk! Haley was escorted by her father and stepfather down the aisle, and Zach was beaming from ear to ear. The couple exchanged personal vows, and then Zach read special vows to Madison and gave her a a keepsake ring. Not an eye was dry during this sweet ceremony! Together, the three of them braided a ceremonial wedding knot, and then Zach and Haley sealed the deal with a kiss!
After the ceremony, Zach and Haley were surrounded by their bridal party and family for portraits. Their friend group is one of legend - with friendships starting from highschool on. We loved photographing this big, fun-loving group of best friends! Next, we walked out into the fields, with fall florals in bloom for Zach and Haley's portraits. These two couldn't be more romantic - our job was easy as they laughed and embraced one another - husband and wife at last!
The reception was a blast with dancing, dessert, delicious BBQ, & fireworks! It was a day full of happy tears and laughter, friends and family, and the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for the Duncan Family! Congratulation, Haley & Zach - wishing you both and Miss Madison the best yet to come~*
