After photographing Alan & Mairit's morning wedding in Salem, Virginia, Mel and I made our way to Fincastle for JW & Allison's wedding at The Kyle House!
Everything from their emotional first look, to their delicious wedding macarons was absolute perfection. Allison looked like a princess in her pink Gilded Thimble gown. She was glowing when I first saw her, upstairs with her bridesmaids as they excitedly got ready for the big day. JW couldn't wait to see her at their first look, and his jaw literally dropped when she came around the corner! They exchanged sweet gifts with one another, including a dapper new watch for JW and heirloom earrings for Allison!
Many happy tears were shed during this wedding, filled to the brim with close family and friends. One of the exciting features that we all couldn't stop talking about, were the delicious macrons for dessert by the talented Gina Huffman, who we all agree should go into the wedding dessert business full time! They were delicious and beautifully decorated; a fun and unique dessert to celebrate a fun and unique couple!
Hands down one of the most fun groups I've photographed dancing; I couldn't help but get excited when everyone joined in on Bohemian Rhapsody, and danced like mad during the chorus!
After celebrating into the night, JW & Allison made their grand exit through a line of happy guests shouting cheers and waving sparklers. It was a wedding to remember, for all the best reasons!
